“NO HOURLY BILL”

At Dobbs & Dutro, we offer our criminal clients a flat fee rate when it comes to pricing.  It is our belief that in criminal cases, flat fee rates are far superior to hourly billing.

Unlike hourly billing, flat fee billing DOES NOT end up costing the client for items such as postage, travel expenses, phone calls, copy costs and the numerous other items that can nickel and dime a client to death.

Instead, a flat fee model sets out an exact number that a case will cost.  That way, everyone knows up front exactly what the cost will be.

Each case is different and the amount of the flat fee depends on the complexity and amount of time necessary to devote to each case.  At Dobbs & Dutro, we examine each case individually and if we decide to accept a case, we quote a price that represents the superior service that we offer.  By looking at each case individually, we are able to avoid over pricing clients depending upon their type of case.

The old saying “you get what you pay for”  is right on the money.  Your legal rights are too important to risk.  Ask yourself, what am I getting when I am quoted bargain basement prices?  We encourage all of our clients to think hard about what type of law firm they want representing them.   

It is also important whether a law firm is willing to accept your case.  We take pride in the clients who we have decided to represent in the past.  Pay close attention to the accompanying letter that details the services that we offer.  We also take pride in offering not just basic legal services, but assisting people with all facets of their case.  We believe that it is our duty to keep our clients informed and do the little things, such as promptly returning telephone calls that often go unnoticed.  From the cleanliness of an office, to the kindness and professionalism of the staff, every aspect of a law firm is representative of how they operate.
